HERE IT IS
DOWNTOWN MINTURN'S PUBLIC RESTROOM
YOU GOT TO LOVE CREATIVE PEOPLE

What else is there to say.
These pictures are worth a thousand words.
Maybe our town council should ask local businesses what they need.
Here is proof of what I have said from the beginning, that our Minturn council never of even of should of talked to Dean Adler or Ginn because they never had clear title to the property they were trying to annex in.
How can anyone try to build on property that they may not own?
How can a town, like Minturn even talk to someone when that someone may not own the property in question?
This is just more proof that our town council is small minded and have no clue on how to run a town.

Now here are some good things.
If anybody wants to get on the bike path/sidewalk committee, please contact me. 390-1460
There is a lot of info out there that other people have done in the past that we need to get. If you know who has bike path info let me know.
We also need to put pressure on Dean Adler to get the millions of dollars to build the bike path.
If we can get a bike path from Dowd Junction to downtown Minturn would be a great start to bring in guests from Vail to increase business and connect Minturn to Vail.
Also it would be nice to do Christmas lights on Main street.
I will get some lights from the Town but we need people to hang them and also some ideas on what events and things to do for this event.
Here is an update on some of the Forest Lands for sale to Minturn that Minturn wants to put low income high density housing on.
"The only land parcel recently appraised by the Town of Minturn is for the Boneyard land parcel located in the White River National Forest. Based upon a request from the Town of Minturn, the Forest Service has offered to sell the administrative parcel known as "The Minturn Boneyard" in a noncompetitive direct sale for the appraised price of $3,250,000.00 based upon the authority granted in the Forest Service Facilities Realignment and Enhancement Act (P.L. 109-54). Should the Town of Minturn choose not to, or is unable to consummate this sale, the subject parcel may be advertised and sold on open market at a later time under the aforementioned authority."

Here is another online information web-site for Eagle County
"Kleinkopf said Crave remains committed to the $180 million in benefits such as a new sewer plant, a recreation center, sidewalks, cash for land exchanges and college money for locals that Ginn promised the town in exchange for annexing his 4,340 acres of mountain land."
